Organization: Philippine Coalition for the International Criminal Court (PCICC)

Location: Quezon City, the Philippines

Mission: The PCICC believes that individual perpetrators of the most heinous crimes – genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity – must be brought to justice.

Vision: The PCICC played a crucial role in the Philippine signing of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court in December 2000. Since then, it has conducted various activities nationwide to achieve its objectives, which include:

  • Creating public awareness on the International Criminal Court;
  • Gather support for the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court by the Philippines; and
  • Promoting the integration of the principles and standards of the International Criminal Court to the Philippines judicial and legal systems.
