En febrero de 2018, la CPI inició un examen preliminar sobre presuntos crímenes cometidos en Venezuela. En 2018 y 2020, la Fiscalía recibió 2 remisiones de varios Estados y de Venezuela sobre crímenes de lesa humanidad presuntamente cometidos en el país.

La CPI inició un examen preliminar en 2004 para evaluar el inicio de una investigación sobre posibles crímenes de lesa humanidad y de guerra del gobierno y las fuerzas rebeldes y paramilitares, teniendo en cuenta las conversaciones de paz en el país

Since Iraq’s independence in 1932, the country has experienced numerous conflicts and periods of civil war. Iraq is not a ICC state member, but is currently subject to preliminary examinations in response to allegations of detainee abuse by U.K. troops.

Guinea is a signatory to the Rome Statute and deposited its instruments of ratification on 14 July 2003. In 2009, the ICC prosecutor opened a preliminary examination into political violence that occurred in Guinea in 2009.

La situación en Libia fue remitida a la CPI por el Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU en febrero de 2011, por presuntos crímenes de lesa humanidad después de las manifestaciones populares de 2011. Los casos de la CPI incluyen a Saif Gaddafi y Abdullah.
