Together For Justice: Meet Oumou Salamata

"Meaningful justice strives to ensure that it is not merely theoretical or formal, but that it genuinely meets the needs and expectations of those involved.”

For Oumou Salamata Bah, from the Coalition Guinéenne pour la Cour Pénale Internationale, meaningful justice is not only about fair and transparent treatment for all individuals, but also about ensuring that the rights of victims are fully respected and restored. Justice becomes meaningful when it prevents arbitrariness, resolves conflicts, and goes beyond theory to truly meet the needs and expectations of those affected.
